My last card for the Frantic Stamper December Release is this easy shaker card. I used the background die to cut these cute swirls in the light pink cardstock. It also cuts the panel to slightly smaller than A2 size. I next cut the medium pink frame and adhered a piece of acetate behind it. I cut foam tape to fit behind the frame and doubled it, making sure there were no gaps.
I used a powder tool to make the edges of the foam tape less sticky and prevent static from the acetate. I added a decent amount of sequins from my stash to the frame piece. Next I added liquid glue on top of the foam tape to make sure the shaker didn’t open. One of my favorite shakers from last year started pulling away from the tape so I always do this now. I then added the die cut panel to the shaker. I set something heavy on top to help the glue dry.
I created a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2″ card base scored and folded at 4 1/4″ from teal cardstock and adhered the shaker to it. I die cut the words from the same teal cardstock and adhered them to the top half of the shaker.
I hope you like this card and found the tutorial helpful. I’d love to hear from you in the comments! Please check out the December release from Frantic Stamper. I’ll have four more cards to share from the January release starting in a week or so. Thanks for visiting!
